Starting a batchjob\nTo start the batchjob click on start batch, on the update prices tile. This will open up the batchjob flow. \n\n### 2. Input reference\nThe reference of the batchjob is prefilled with the name of the batchjob, date and time. Select pricing list\nSelect the pricing list for which you would like to start the batchjob.\n\n### 4. Advanced Settings\nUnder the advanced settings, you can round prices and set the active at date and time for the updated prices.\n\n#### Round prices\nHere you can fill in a value to which the prices will be rounded. \n\n**For example:** if you fill in $ 1,00 all prices will be rounded up to the nearest multiple of $ 1,00 so $ 8,95 will be $ 9,00 etc.\n![Rounding prices](https://qcqcdn.com/afosto/round_prices_batchjob_fa95d5d560/round_prices_batchjob_fa95d5d560.png)\n\n#### Active at\nWith this setting, you can determine when the prices of the batchjob will be active. By using this functionality you can for example plan a Black Friday sale or end-of-season sale from a set date and time. \n![Active at advanced setting price batch](https://qcqcdn.com/afosto/active_at_advanced_setting_price_batch_fa4649427c/active_at_advanced_setting_price_batch_fa4649427c.png)\n\n## Price Batchjob Data\n\nIn the second step you can choose how you would like to provide the data of your batchjob. For this we have 3 options: \n1. Existing data set\n2. Spreadsheet\n3. CSV integration\n![Batchjob step 2 data](https://qcqcdn.com/afosto/Batchjob_data_step_2_183bb5e2bb/Batchjob_data_step_2_183bb5e2bb.png)\n\n### Existing Data Set\nEvery time you create a spreadsheet in Afosto you will need to provide an reference, by doing this you are creating a so-called Data Set which you can use later on in another batchjob. By doing this you don't have to provide us with the same data everytime you're creating a batchjob. \n\nBy selecting an existing data set you can select one of the previously created data sets from your Afosto account.\n\nAfter selecting an existing data set you will get an overview of the data in that dataset.\n\n### Spreadsheet\nIf you select the spreadsheet option you are able to fill in or copy-paste it into a spreadsheet form. This will also create a data set which you can then access through the existing data set function. \n\nAfter filling out this spread sheet and clicking on next step you will get an overview of the newly created data set. \n\n### CSV integration\nWhen selecting CSV integration you can choose to either select a previously created CSV integration or create a new CSV integration by clicking on + new csv integration\n![CSV integration Afosto Batchjobs](https://qcqcdn.com/afosto/csv_integration_select_add_312e73f923/csv_integration_select_add_312e73f923.png)\n\n#### New CSV integration\nBy creating a new CSV integration you are able to select it later for different batch jobs throughout the platform.\n\n##### Name\nFill in the name of the new CSV integration. It is wise to fill in a name which you can later recognize by making a description of the data in the CSV. For example: Product Prices - [brand x] - [date] \n\n##### Setup CSV integration\nHere you can choose between pasting an url or uploading a CSV file. The url option needs to be publicly available.\n\n##### Choose seperator\nWith this setting you can choose the separator of the CSV file you've chosen in the previous step. The available options are: Tab, Comma, Semicolon, Space\n![choose seperator csv integration](https://qcqcdn.com/afosto/choose_seperator_csv_integration_84ae5a7286/choose_seperator_csv_integration_84ae5a7286.png)\n\nAfter adding a new or selecting an existing CSV integration you will get an overview of the data inside the CSV file.\n\n## Column Selection\nIn the column selection step you will be able to assign the columns of the data set from the previous step to the corresponding fields required for the selected batchjob. \n![Column selection price batch job](https://qcqcdn.com/afosto/column_selection_price_batch_job_7c82c3a7f3/column_selection_price_batch_job_7c82c3a7f3.png)\n\n## Validation\nAfter assigning the columns to the fields of the batch job and clicking on next the batch will be validated by the system.
