There you will get the following options:\n\n- Select a carrier\n- Select/add zone\n- Specify name\n- Default display\n- Display by language\n- Shipping method active\n- Set shipping costs\n- Define shipping options\n\n## Select a carrier\nHere you can select the carrier for the selected shipping method, or create a custom method by selecting Afosto as carrier.\n\n## Select/add zone\nSelect the shipping zone for the new shipping method or create a new zone. \n\nA shipping zone is a country, group of countries or a part of a country (e.g. the Wadden Islands) for which this shipping method must be available.\n\n## Specify name\nBased on the settings, give the shipping method a good name so that it is clear what the settings for this method are. You can expand this (per language) with the messaging options below.\n\nExample names: \n- Sameday Delivery\n- Pickup Point DPD\n- PostNL Pickup Point\n- PostNL Signature for Receipt\n- PostNL Signature for Receipt + ID Check\n\n## Default display\nHere you can enter the standard text that will be shown with the shipping method. This is also the fallback text if no text has been entered for a particular language. Which language is shown to the customer depends on the browser language of the visitor.\n\n## Shipping method active\nThis setting determines whether the shipping method is active or not.\n\n## Set shipping costs\nThis is where you set the standard shipping costs for the method, which can be either a fixed amount or a percentage. \n\n## Set shipping options\nBased on the options you select here, we will return a subset of the methods that meet the criteria you set here from the shipping link. \n"}],"id":"861","type":"text"}]}}},"pageContext":{"slug":"docs/admin/orders/shipping-methods/","id":306}},"staticQueryHashes":["4039036176"]}
